front tires rounding!?

Default front tires rounding!?

i have a 97 z71 and my front tires are rounding and i need new tires soon and i dont want to ruin the new ones anyone know how to stop the them from rouding
?

By rounding do you mean that the outside tread on both sides of the tire are wearing out and not the middle of the tire? If that is the case, the tires are under inflated. You should check the tire pressure on all tires regularly. After spending a lot of money on new tires, you should also add an alignment.

i checked my tire pressure and it seems ok so if i get an alignment it should fix the probablem?

Your tire pressure may be ok now. This doesn't happen overnight. It takes running tires with low pressure for long period of times. You can then add air, but the damage is already done. When you get new tires they will be filled with the correct air pressure, you need to maintain them.

get an alignment anytime tires are replaced and irregular wear patterns are present.

If your describing a feather-edged tire wear pattern accompanied by loud growling noise at highway speed; your tires have toe wear which is an alignment issue.

they will check for worn suspension componets as part of the pre-alignment inspection.
