gears with 35's
hey guys i got an 8in lift and 35's do you think my 3.73 gears will do the trick? i now going to 4.11's would be ideal but i dont have the money for that right now, the truck rides great and i have a programmer in mind. it rides great at 80mpg going down the highway. with cruise set it goes down to about 2000rpm and when i hit a hill itd go to about 3500 get some power and settle down pretty quick back to 2000. now here and there ill pull off a line quickly. but im not gonna be roasting my tires, just a fast pull here and there, think theyll suffice? thanks

I don't see why not.
Of course the speedometer, will read slow for your actual speed, and you'll notice it won't have the responsiveness in Breaking or apparent Power, but, that's about it.

By the way...
Not sure if it would apply to your ride, but, some can set the Computer for the increased Tire Size, and get the Speedometer corrected.
