for Fuel Injected vehicles... Don't you have to do more then just change a chip? If so why cant you just take it to a place and have them flash the chip with new information?

Blackbearperformance and gowheatley aren't chips...they're tunes, not like a preprogrammed bullydog or superchip. But a tune dialed into exactly how you drive

 

I've done some reading and research on chips and tuners and they can increase certain types of performance of your truck. It will pretty much always relsult in worse gas mileage, but you can change transmission shift points and injection of fuel to get a faster rig. But from what I can figure the blackbear tune is a better deal for performance. I don't think it is just a tune though, I believe they do some part modifcations with that like a cold air return and filter system.
