Glove Box Lock

Glove Box Latch - Need Help
My glove box latch broke while trying to open. Box is shut closed and latch just wiggles but does not work. Does anyone know the secret to opening the box and what do I need to replace? Lastly, probably plastic piece broke, any after market metal pieces?
