GM 12 bolt differential
Hello!
I have Chevy truck from 1980 and i need new parts for rear differential. Because i can't contact LMC truck (seems that they don't have e-mail aadress, maybe someone here knows?) And i can't call or mail them, because i live in Europe, so it's kind of a problem.
Maybe somebody from here can help me out.
I need new set of ring & pinion, with 3.08 gear ratio (40T x 13T) and i need new differential carrier too, that's the problem. LMC notes that it only fits with gear ratio 3.73 and up. So it seems that this will not fit.
What should i do? Should i look for alternative gear ratio or is there some right carrier for me?
For more info:
It has diesel engine, so theoretically lower rpm should fit with 3.08 better than bigger gear ratio.
It has GM 12 bolt differential (8-7/8)

I would go to www.ringpinion.com. I have used randy's for years. they not only carry everything ring/pinion their overhall kits are the best.
