I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 08, and I love them. I had them in the snow here in Virginia this past winter and had no issues. I can't vouch for the BFG's, but I can say the Nitto's are great.

I agree with the BFG's, However believe this or not I have got 90,000 out of my Nitto Terra Grapplers. I still have tread on two of them, but the other two are gone, so Im getting a new set soon.

Have have read consumer reviews on just about every all terrain tire ans BF Goodrich all terrain a/t's got
The best reviews hands down. Inexpensive, great mud, snow, and wet surface traction, long lasting,
Nice aggressive look but not obnoxiously loud road noise... And I can get a set of 4 for about $650 off
Of the internet.

Look when he posted that
Good luck with that now.
I just went from BFG AT's to General Grabber AT2's. They were about 155 ea at tire buyer.com
I like them better so far. They are quieter, have better traction in the rain. They have done very well in loose dirt and mud. Haven'
t had them in the snow yet. Though unlike the BFG's they are actually rated a M&S tire.
