Default The Green Water!

Hi all,

After my truck sat in the garage all night. I awoke to a typical pool of water from the AC condensation. This time it had a very, very light green tint to it. I laid a new white shop towel over it, spots came up light green. Couldn't smell anything, but it was green.

What should I be looking for? Still has warranty.

thanks for any ideas

The green may have been something that it picked up that was on your garage floor. Your truck doesn't have any green fluids in it that can leak out. The only green auto fluid is Coolant, but you use Dex Cool that is a yellowish color.

Its just normal condensation thats dripping down and its nothing to be worried about. Feel free to take it to the dealer to get it looked at since its still under warranty, but you're not having any issues at all.

Some oil in air conditions are green especially if it has a dye in it. If your AC quits working shortly then your evaporator is probably leaking. If the AC continues to work it is probably not from the truck, as stated above there really are not any green fluids in your truck.

Thank you guys for your responses. I'm not gonna worry about it then. I never even thought about the truck not having "green fluid". My 2nd year of ever owning a chevy. It's always been Jeeps. ha.

Thanks again! Have a great weekend!!
