Default Grounding or Transmission?

My name is Tray. I have a 95 chevy silverado Z71. I am having some problems and don't know if it is a grounding problem or what it is. Sometimes when I crank it up all the gages work except the rpm, odometer, and the shifter light doesn't light up. Also the transmission acts like it is stuck in a high gear. It doesn't do it all the time. It might go a while and work just fine or it might act up. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Do you know where they might be. I have found two and that is all I could find. The ones I have found are the battery and where the cab is grounded to the frame on the passenger side by the firewall.
