has trouble cold starting
my 2000 silverado only has 27000 miles it sat for the year i was in iraq but when i got back it was starting just fine. i replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump but i dont know much about mechanics and which direction to go next. im trying some fuel system cleaners but the mechanic that replaced my fuel pump said my gas was cloudy any tips would be great thanks.
Run ituntil the fuel is almost gone. Do not empty it completely. Refill the tank with 93 octane, regardless of what you normally use. Run that out the same way. Relplace your fuel filter again. Be sure to check your plugs too. I would suggest replacing them. The dealer will tell you about 100,000 mile life. I have seen too many problems with plugs freezing up in the block. The do not put antiseize from the factory. Since your truck has been sitting. It would be advised to replace them. Stay with the factory AC Delco plugs. Your Chevrolet was preprogrammed by the detonation caracteristic of the plugs you have now.
