Question Header question

Today I was told tha the "mild steel" headers last about 15k to 20k in a Vortec truck??? Has any one had any experience with this? I could go Stainless Steel, but thats a lot of $$$$$.

wow am I the only one brave enough to "get out of the box??" and try different mods??

well, i havent tried in a vortec, but i have a set of steel headers and a set of ceramic headers both with around the same miles on them ceramics are as beutiful as the day i bought them, steel are rusty, but good (20k miles) buy what u want, but the better brands and styles are just that, better. i paid $450 cdn for my ceramics, and are a good in-between
