Default 1997 5.7 Overheated, water in oil, etc. Head gasket on intake gasket?

Hey guys, My 1997 stepside 5.7 overheated yesterday, smoke out the tail, shut off etc. Towed her home, next morning dranied oil and there was about 15 quarts of brown sludge, coolant/oil. With the oil drain plug off, I plugged the water hose to the radiator and the water came straight out of the oil pan. Keep in mind the vehicle is completely off and cold. My question is head gasket or intake manifold gasket or both or something entirely different. ANyhelp would be great. Im not real familiar with this engine.
