I have a 96 Chevy Silverado v6 and I put a v8 engine from a 99 tahoe. Now the engine will not start. If you put gas in the throttle body it will run. We put the computer and wiring harness and steering column from the tahoe also. I need help don't know what to do.

 

When my 93 had these same symptoms it needed a new ignition module in the distributor. Would run if I poured gas in the throttle body, but injectors did not cycle. Do you hear the fuel pump run when you 1st turn on the key?
