Default Help choosing spark plug wires

What plug wires do you guys recommend for a 2001 Silverado 1500 LS 5.3L 2wd. I already have a full set of ACDelco iridium spark plugs (part# 41-110) and I need some advice on my options for the wires.

Thanks!

xavier,

Most parts houses have a "best" set. They will be guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. They will be pricey.

Napa, Autozone, ORiley's, will most likey be less expensive that the dealer's parts department.

AC Delco wires to go with your AC Delco plugs. They'll be good for another 100.000 miles. Check out OEHQ.com. This is where I ordered mine from- 1/2 price of parts store for the AC Delco wires

Ok thanks guys. I was looking at a ACDelco set to order but I forgot to check the stamp on my coils for compatibility. Will do that today and see about ordering some.

Ok. My coil is stamped 19005218 and I measured my wires at about 10 inches long. I found 2 sets of ACDelco wires that would work that run 9.2 inches. One is the ACDelco 748gg wire set and the other is the 9748gg professional set. The prices between the two is pretty close and I was wondering if there is any significant difference between the two.

I suspect the Pro set has a thicker jacket and may come with dielectric gel for the boots... the other set may not...
