Default Help with Rearview Mirror Display

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum.
I just bought an 03 silverado, and the display at the rearview mirror doesn't turn on. I read the user manual and it says there must be an on/off switch but my mirror only has the comp and temp switches.

Does the display must turn on automatically or you can turn it on/off? If so, how do you turn it on?

I will appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Guss

Default RE: Help with Rearview Mirror Display

Guss welcome.

The dual display can be turned on or off by briefly pressing either the TEMP or the COMP button, if this doesn't do the trick then check for a broken fuse and if that looks good then make sure that the wire harness is connected and the previous owner didn’t just slap the Elecrochromic mirror in as a replacement for a regular mirror.

Default RE: Help with Rearview Mirror Display

I tried that and the display does not turn on, the only thing that happens is that the green light next to the temp and comp turns on & off. About the fuse I am not sure which fuse to look for, which one I will check? the wire harness is connected to the mirror, does the display is just broken and I need to replace the mirror?

Thanks
