Hi, I'm new to the forum. Just bought a 2010 silverado and am looking into getting hids in both the lows and fogs. I've had them before in my G8 but had melting issues with the fogs because of the plastic housings. Anyone know if the silverados have the same problem with the fogs in running a 35w 6k hid fog kit? I've been told there aren't any problems but upon searching I've read that some have had damage to their housings. My supplier has told me that there are no problems with running a 35w, he actually told me that people were running a 25w in the g8s to prevent melting. Any help or info would be appreciated.

 

I hav 6000 HIDS in low & fog with no problems for 6 Mo. in my 2007 NBS SIlverado. I still have the box at home for the fogs so I will post it tomorrow.
