Hypertech

Does anybody know if I can run my Hypertech, part# 30006 from my 01 Silverado with a 4.8 in my 04 Silverado with a 5.3? The box says 01 GM trucks, 4.8/5.3/6.0L. Thanks again.

no the older programmers like that are pretty much year specific

Not to mention proprietary-you have to download your original specs back into vehicle #1, before you can try to use it on vehicle #2.
