Mostly low end. Considering it is the 4.8 with 35's.... I needed the low end power. And it provided. It "gets up and goes" a lot better than it did.

One negative about my specific programmer, is that it only offers performance upgrades for 87 octane or 93 octane. Well if you live in CA like me, there is no 93 octane available. So for now I am using the 87 option, although I am running 91.

So if I have this good an experience with the 87 option... I wonder what the 93 would do?

well ive had it for a while and i havent ever even plugged it up to my truck, and the transmission in my truck just went down the ****ter due to internal damage, so its not like customixing the shifts will help at all, so im just trying to get like $100, which is a great deal considering i paid $450 for it

Hi CoffeyLover,

How are you doing today?

I originally hated my programmer because it didn't give the expected performance promised. I thought "Ah sh%&, another 369$ down the toilet".

But since, I've come to love the other features which I would have never bought it for originally.

It reads and clears trouble codes,
It resets my vehicle parameters,
And it gives me real-time injection mapping data thru my OBDII thru my programmer to my laptop with downloadable programs and an adapter cable(Sold separately.)

It's been a real blessing in disguise.

I got one of these for my '05 V-6 1500 and noticed no change in the fuel mileage. This was disappointing, but the other features such as the code reader and clearing function are handy as is the tranny and speedo adjustment function.
