Bought a Rostra 250-1223 and installed it as a pedal pull on my NBS 2007 Silverado. Instructions are not very clear. Rostra isno help - won't answer email questions. Dealer was OK, but wouldn't answer an email either about the relay..
Rostra supplimental NBS instruction sheet shows a 5 terminal relay is necessary - but they don't tell you it ain't on the vehicle, you have to go and buy one. Then you have to kinda guess that the violet wire comes in on terminal 87A - their diagram is not very clear on that either. Good news is it works really swell. My only mistake was when I installed the switch stalk (Rostra 3742) I can't see it - turn signal stalk is in front of it. I can live with that. Might move it later and put a plastic plug in the old hole.

 

The reason they give you no answers is that they offer a universal kit. Not a vehicle specific kit. Its up to the installer to find the correct wires and install it properly

 

What's the problem with factory stuff? It can't be that big a pain in the a## as this is. Really.

You cannot add a factory cruise to a NBS C\K. You cannot change the calibration files within the BCM to allow for it
