just bought another Z71
i just bought a 1995 Chevy Z71 - 5.7 v8. 116,000 miles.
it was a friend's father in law who passed away a few years ago and the truck has just been sitting barely used for about 2 years so they decided to get rid of it. he was the original owner and the truck is in great shape.
only issue i see with it after driving it today was that it pulls to the right a bit much but that is probably an easy fix with an alignment.
besides that what else would y'all suggest as far as having it checked out / preventive maintenance at this point? 14 yrs old 116,000 miles.

I would have it checked out to prevent any further problems.
Maybe ask your friend's dad if he maintained it well,
but then again you couldn't completely take his word for it.
Oh yeah..and go to a good shop.
Before I bought my 1997 silverado I had
a Pre-Buyer's inspection done on it
and later on found a whole lot of other problems.
---- both ruined cats melting my oxygen sensors..
needed to replace fuel pump... etc.----
but this was coming from some a$$hole
who said that they don't do estimates on fixing vehicles..
ridiculous. And could you believe they were certified.. psh.
