Default Knock Sensor 6.0gas issue +

this is probably something rare, taking out the knock sensor on my
2500 hd gas motor, it was corroded bad..., that seems to be pretty
common. But unf. when I removed it, it left the bottom end mainly the
bolt still in the block.
Having trouble getting it out, and am thinking of cleaning the area good,
cutting the bolt off the bottom of new knock sensor and possible, gluing
with a gorilla glue, type that would just glue the knock sensor to the
part that was left from old sensor.
Then attaching the wire harness, with gasket sealer, etc...and making that
is secure. It seems like it would stay securely in the whole there under
the intake manifold. I believe the boot, around the top if secured well
will keep the knock sensor from moving and with a drop of gorilla on the
bottom, Im wondering if it would be ok. Keep in mind the old one, was
caked in about a cup of smashed in dirt that had made its way in there
over the years, so thinking this might work out.
Any thoughts of this from someone experienced with the knock sensors
would be a big help. THANKS!
