Default Know anything about paint?

I have a 98 silverado and i want to paint the grille black. It's a chrome, plastic material. I'm also wanting to paint the undercarriage. The last thing i want to paint is the tailgate, i want to get as close to the actual color of the truck which is black. If you know what paint i should use for these 3 jobs please give me feedback on what to use and how i should do it. Thanks a lot

Go to a automotive paint supply store with your paint code. They can mix you up a quart for your tailgate and an aerosol can for your grill. Or if you want to paint gun the whole job they can mix up as much as you need. If you don't need any aerosol cans you should be able to just go to your local body shop and they should be able to mix it for you.

i'm not really looking to get paint mixed since i know it will be expensive and could take a professional to match it up. I was hoping there was something for me at autozone that i can do myself for all 3 parts

Duplicolor spray paint/touch up paint. Cross reference you paint code and pick up a few cans.

dont spend big dollors on fancy black colors. go to walmart and buy some flat black rustoleom for your grill, some gloss black rustoleom for your undercarriage.
