Default Leveling kit help?

I have a 2011 Chevy silverado and it already has a 2 inch rough country leveling kit on it below the shock. I just ordered a .5 inch top spacer to make it a 2.5 inch leveling kit. Does anyone know how hard it will be to install the .5 inch block on top of the shock? I think all I have to do it take the screw out of upper ball joint and take the bolt out to free up the lower control arm then install block on top of shock and put it back together..... is it really that easy? and do i need to get a tire alignment after... i am currently running lt285 bfg all terrains ????

To drop it you'll need to take the upper ball joint off the control arm as well as the sway bar link and the tie rod. If not then it won't drop. They're super easy to do though. As you shouldn't need one after a .5" more lift.
