Default loose steerin

I have an 01 1500 z71 with the 33x12.5x20s and ever since I've put them only steerin has been kind of loose. when I turn left my steering wheel turns like it's suppose to. barely turn it and it goes in that direction but when I go right I have to almost turn it a quarter of a turn(top of the steering wheel is facing the right) and then it starts to turn...I know it's a older truck with bigger tires but it shouldn't do this should it?

it is on the steering shaft, i havent seent them get too worn before, you could also tighten up the steering box too, the bolt on the top of it is the spot to do it, just a 1/4 turn though too much will make it do wierd things while driving
