Loud humming from my 2008 1500 2WD silverado above 45km/h
So, a few weeks ago i noticed a loud humming from my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2WD when going above 45k/h and above. Seems the loadest around 75km/h. the humming goes away when veering right but not left. I figured it was just the tires so i swapped to my all seasons and the noise is still there.
I thought at first maybe the u-joint but there is not clanking when going into reverse?
any thoughts? I'm a handy guy but just not alot of experience with vehicle repairs.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Jack up front end and let tires just dangle. Go on each side and see if the wheels have play in them. Sounds like a hub or wheel bearing to me. Grab tire on top and bottom and see if it has any movement in the hub. Hope this helps. Message back if you need me to explain more
