My first tune!

First off I have a 04 Silverado 2500 4wd Crew Cab with the 6.0. I have 4" of lift and running 315/70/r17. I have a K&N air filter and Magnaflow duel in and duel out exhaust with 2.5 inch pipes.
I went to a local tune shop. EFI Alchemy here in NE Florida. Doc and the crew there are great. They know anything and everything that has to do with LS motors and Chevy.
First pull on the Dyno I was at 212.46 Max HP at 280.45 torque. After 5 pulls over the next couple hours after many adjustments I ended up with 261.87 HP and 301.05 in torque. A big gain with happy results.
I plan on a trip where I will be driving from Florida to Massachusetts. The last time I took that trip I was getting around 12mpg. I will post later on what I gain. I'm looking close to 18mpg.

The best money spent on the truck so far.... Next is fix the trans slip at 3500 RPM and maybe some long tube headers. After that it would be a compcam and motor mods.

I had a slip in mine...put a vette servo in and was good to go and it help with the shiftin alot. much better pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear. How much was a dyno tune? for a regular drive around town tune i paid 260 but i don't think i saw 50 hp results lol but maybe who knows. I know its much better drivin around town now

The tune was 300$ and after this trip I took got about a 5MPG gain. He told me the vette servo was the reason for my slip as well... Told me he would do it for 75$ and do a pull on the dyno to show where it no longer slips.
I looked back to my old trip back to mass and was getting 10-11 mpg and now on this trip I was getting 15-16. Not bad. He also took away the 60 second delay for overdrive and putting around town at 45mph I'm running around 1200 rpm and showing on the cluster 19-21 mpg. I also notice alot less shifting going up and down inclines from OD. I traveled 75mph at 2k rpm and the cluster showed 15mpg. I did my math with the gas fill ups and it was dead on.

well dang i saw a 2 mpg gain with mine but i know the dyno tune is much more dialed in...i may have to look around for a shop that'll do a dyno tune for my truck. I'd like to see those kind of improvements across the board

That's some awesome results. I have been looking at various tuning options, but hadn't even considered a dyno shop yet... That's definitely what I'm leaning towards now though!
