I'm thinking of running the Napa part number 6637 air filter on my truck its a massive paper element filter popular with the 7.3L diesel guy they run them as opposed to the k&n filters because of issues with k&n's letting too much dust dirt past and pitting the turbo blades. it looks like if i took the stock air box out i could clamp it to the mass airflow meter. the 6637 air filter worked great for my 7.3L diesile @ 20 psi of boost i cant imagine a normally aspirated 8.1L needing more air than that?

well doing some poking around on the wix website according to wix the stock filter for my truck part # 42487 flows 320 cfm wix part #46637 flows 425 cfm. so according to that it should be a nice upgrade. at almost 1/3 improvement in flow.
