Natural Gas 454

Natural Gas 454
Hello,
I have my 454 out of my 78 crew cab for a rebuild. I have decided that since I have access to free natural gas I would like to convert it to CNG. I am looking for suggestions as to how high I should go with the compression. I would also like to be able to run off of propane until I get my cng compressor installed. I know that natural gas has an octane rating of about 130 while propane is between 100 and 110. How high should/could I go?
