need help with my trucks exhaust
i was recently told that if i take the resignator outta my muffler that it will sound better i was wondering if this is true and how to do it...lemme know Thanx

Sure, if you knock any of the insides out of your muffler, it will no longer be a "muffler", and it will be louder. But just because it's louder doesn't mean it will sound better. It'll sound more like you have a hole in the exhaust, which is just annoying. Personally I have a flowmaster cat back system, and I'm very pleased with it. It has a very low pitched rumble. It's pretty loud at low speeds, but I don't get the headache causing, annoying hum in the cab at highway speeds.

how does the flowmaster sound on a diesel... i have a 2007 classic diesel and i haven heard an exhaust upgrade on a diesel... just wanted to know what you guys think about it.

Most people I've known don't do exhaust modifications to diesel trucks. I think the reason for this is most people with diesel trucks use them for work. And a work truck is all about function rather than sounding cool. Like I've said, I've never seen it done, but I imagine it would sound funky considering a diesel is pretty loud as is.
