Default Need help with tires??

Ok, i'm going to do a 2.5 level kit on my 09 silverado, but i want to keep my stock 18" rims, what is the biggest tire i can fit on a chevy 18" rim? i know they say with the level kit i can do a 33" tire, but for now i dont want to change rims, i want to go either with a 20" or 22" with a mud terrain later.. So any information would be great guys..
thanks

You don't need different rims to put bigger tires on. I have stock 16" rim with 33" Hankook Dynapro M/Ts.
