Default Need help troubleshooting noise from flywheel/torque converter area

I have a 99 Silverado 5.3 liter with an automatic transmission with the factory tow package. It recently developed pinging noise which is coming from the flywheel or torgue converter. I checked the three torque converter bolts, but they were tight. I dropped the tranny thinking I had a cracked flywheel. However, the flywheel is okay. While removing the flywheel for an inspection under bright light I hit the fly wheel and discovered a noise similar to the noise I had been hearing. Can anyone give any ideas what my problem might be?

Default flywheel noise

yes and No, I had 2 noises, one when starting the truck and another when turning corners I havnt figured out the corner turning noise, but the start noise I feel is better, here's what it was doing and how i fixed it.
'
when I would start the truck it made a gringing noise. people in other forums said to shim it, i didn't like that idea so I got underneath and looked at it. I found that when you loosen the 2 bolts there is about 1/8" movnent forward and back. I moved it all the way 1/8 of an inch in the oposite direction and snuged the bolts down. and to my pleasure now find it doesn't make the grind noise. as for the turning corner noise it too is probly a matter of loosening the trans bolts and shifting one way or another till its gone. Ill let you know how it goes when fixed.
