Unhappy Need help with truck!

I have a 93 silverado 4x4 with a 305. Been having some issues with it running. ive replaced egr, iac, tps, coolant temp sensor, cap rotor plugs and wires. It has a brand new intake manifold on it. Ive rebuilt the throttle body also. Problem is when I start the truck it either dies right away or not until I put it in gear. If I unplug the electrical connector on the map sensor it idles fine but of course doesnt run well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried getting some MAF safe cleaner and cleaning it?

Hey there, hockeytemper58, Welcome to the

Chevy Forums.

Have you hooked up an OBD scan-tool to check for trouble codes?

The new tools are inexpensive, and pay for themselves with a couple uses.

We even have trouble codes indexed here at CF.

Just use the Thread Search feature.
