Need Measurements

Need Measurements
I have a lowered Silverado. I have cracked my fuel pump once and put a gash in my fuel tank. I was pondering if switching the fuel tank out with that of a Colorado since its smaller would keep that from happening. Seeing that it is smaller. Problem is I do not have said truck at my disposal to compare dimensional sizes and mounting points. If anybody who could happen to help me out with the aforementioned measurements your help would be greatly appreciated

Hey Gabriel,
I work at a Chevy dealer and I'll be happy to double check that for you.
I'm off today, but shoot me an email Monday as a reminder and I'll ask to our manager at the service department if that's possible.

Hey Gabriel,
I talked to one of our mechanics that has a low rider. He said his has airbags, and his solution was "raising the tank".
I searched on Google and here's a good link I found:
http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/g...check-out.html
And this is another in the same forum:
http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/g...-gas-tank.html
He said he basically raised it using metal bars.
So, the Colorado tank might work, but he said it's not necessary.
Another option he gave is to use Devious Customs' fuel tank.
Here's their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Deviou...28588037176552
This is a ready-to-use kit which uses the original fuel pump and other parts. It costs $300+, but he said it's top notch.
I hope this helps!
Best regards,
Luciano
