Hey all! I posted in the new member area and I figured I would jump in and say hi here too. Just bought a 2009 Silverado Ext. Cab Z71 with the LT pkg. Im yet to figure out the radio settings so Im heading out to read the OM. From your all's experiences.....is there anything I should be aware of as in problems for this truck?? I have the 3yr/36k warranty and the 5yr/100k powertrain warranty. Im hoping this takes care of my major issues. Any heads up would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, make sure the steering is butt-tight, at traffic and highway speeds...

Pay no mind to the coolant loss at @25k, you need to re-mount your waterpump with better gaskets and sealer.(you may get this done under warranty)

My CD player died while it was still under warranty. They replaced it.

Speaking of the warranty, it's probably best for the most part if you allow it time to elapse before you make any major modifications.
