Ok, here's what my friend said:
"It's either going to be the EGR Vacuum or Tranny solenoid. GM had an issue on the vehicles that would die and take hours to start again. The solenoid would have to release or the "computer" shows it in gear."
Now, this is a somewhat translation of what he said, his grammer is a bit difficult to understand... However, when talking to him, he is very understandable.
