Default over sized cam in 2500 HD 6.0

i am thinking about putting a over sized cam in my truck for more power and performance. do i have to change anything else other then the cam? will i gain much power new to this need help please?????

At a minimum
Cam, valve springs and hardened push rods and a tune for reliability and performance
Then you will need valve cover gaskets, water pump gaskets, timing cover gasket
It really depends on the cam maybe 30-50 at the wheels with supporting mods like intake and exhaust (headers and catback)

What kind of HP gain were you trying to get ? Do you have bigger tires ? Buy a good programmer and you will get the best bang for your bucks. A good catback system and a good programmer will get good results .

for the sake of trying to save money if i were you id just get a custom tune im getting a wheatly but i have heard great thing about wheatley and blackbear proformance that might be what your looking for istead of the oversized cam

I'm thinking of getting a Wheatley tune my self some time soon. I am just waiting on my cam before i get the tune.
