Overhauling 1992 454SS - rear suspension?
I am just starting on a 1992 454SS project truck..
I am looking for ideas suggestions on rear suspension.
The truck was lowered and the frame notched. The rear end is a 14 bolt Chevy. I think it has 373 gears.
The motor will be rebuilt and will produce around 400HP.
The truck needs to be a good streetable truck.
I need to either back half the frame (S&W makes one) or reinforce the notched frame. It was not well done.
I am looking for a better suspension - maybe ladder bars.
It has posi and I think that will work well.
Did any do a project truck and beef up the rear suspension?
