Default Power folding mirrors

When trying to replace broken glass, I just found out my 2003 1500 is equipped with power folding mirrors. The truck was purchased used, has no owners manual and I can't find a switch. How do I operate them?

Default RE: Power folding mirrors

I also have a 03' LT Silverado with the folding mirrors. On the driver's side arm rest you will see a 1" square button. If you press the left side of the button it will open up the mirrors the right sideretracts the mirrors. This same button will also adjust the mirrors right and left. To adjust the mirrors you will need to select left or right on the small switch next to the square button but this switch has to be in the neutral position before the mirrors will retract. Sounds confusing but it's really not once you do it a time or two. I hope this helps you out.
