So this morning i go to start 03' 2500HD and it was all i could do to keep it running. Check engine light comes on runs really rough like not firing on all cylinders or bad fuel injectors or bad fuel pump. I had to leave it in the drive way and take my other truck.
Any ideas on what to try.
Thanks

Left this a little to open. First step is to scan the codes obviously. That very well may tell you right away what your problem is. If you think it's a misfire, there is 100 things that could cause it. You will need to check the code to see if its random or isolated to 1 cylinder. If it's 1 cylinder, then look at fuel injector, spark plug, plug wire, etc. If it's random, look at MAF, coil, cat, etc.

Ok, I pulled the codes: P0101, P0300, and P0300p/d.
P0300 is misfire or vacuum leak. Were would one buy new intake manifold gaskets for this fix and any other things to try or change. (new plug wires, new plugs, ect...)
What programmer would you recommend for performance and pulling codes.
Thanks
Jody
