I love my Manual Transmission but it take a while to learn. I would reccomend learning how to drive one first to see if you like it! As far as better gas mileage It depends on how you drive it my friend. I would get the second one!

Those trucks all look pretty good man; If you want something that already has a lot of customization done, then the third one is the way to go. You can learn to drive a stick; it's not that hard!=]

OK stevblev,(Welcome to the forum, BTW)
To save gas, I would key on a few things. Bear in mind I'm getting 18MPG highway with a 3/4 ton CrewCab Long Bed. These are the most important things I did.
1) A 342 differential gear ratio. Lowers the revs, increases the mileage. Not real hard to find on a 1/2 ton. Codes in the glovebox(Service Parts ID Sticker) tell the tale.
2)Whether you have a tonneau cover, a cap, or you remove the tailgate, you have to do something about your bed's wind resistance.(I went the fiberglass cap route.)
3)Keep your maintenance(especially tire inflation, which I would overinflate tires 1-3 lbs) very carefully.
4)Your gas pedal foot is the supreme limiter when you're going for mileage. Go to "Ecomodders.com, and read the "100 tips for better gas mileage"a real eye opener.
Good luck.
