I'm new to this forum site. I am looking to put a higher flow muffler on my Silverado 2009 Z71 that has active fuel management and heard that I would need to be careful with what I put on there. I heard from someone who did some exhaust system work said that there 2008 with active fuel management sounded cruddy when it went to running 4 cyclinders while running down the highway but sounded fine while running on all 8 cyclinders. So I'm wondering what will work and sound good. I am looking at the Gibson racing superflow muffler but don't want it if it won't work with what I got.
