Question rear roll down windows in extended cab

Hello,I recently purchased 2009 silverado ext.cab work truck. After taking delivery i noticed the rear window seals were leaking allowing water into the core of the doors.Notified chevrolet and took it back to the dealer. They removed the door linings and found the seals leakingand ordered new seal kits for both. While the doors were apart i noticed that it appeared that the hardware to roll the windows up and down was installed in the doors(the work truck comes with non moveable windows, unless you pay for the option)Wondering if they windows can easily be made to roll up and down, and if so what would be needed. If anyone has input on this it would helpful. Thanks
