Default Rough Country Lift Kit?

So I'm looking to buy a suspension lift for my 2003 Silverado 1500 4x4. I'm looking to buy a 4 inch rough country lift. I'm not looking for anything bigger because I'm not constantly mudding and I don't want to change the dynamics drastically. So what I'm asking is, what are some thoughts and reviews on it. I have heard mixed reviews on it and I'm trying to get a clearer picture on it. Also what are some suggestions to other lifts you guys might think I would be better off with?

Hey,

Rough country lifts are a great value but that's what they are value. I work with these products everyday and if you want a decent kit Pro Comp or Fabtech would be better kits. They will come with more correction parts and be better quality products.

Rough country will be perfect for what you want. Don't get caught up in the brand names when it comes to the 6" kits for 99-06 cause most of them are knuckle lifts where the diff is dropped 4.5" and the lower arms are dropped 6" and then you crank it 1.5" to get the 6". Pro comp may be the only exception but then you pay for the name on it too. Keep in mind with the rough country it pushes out the front tires 1.5" on each side. I had it for about a year hen wanted to go bigger. Was a great lift, built very well, and withstood every thing I through at it.
