I was at the auto parts store and noticed they had a product available called "Seafoam" in a 16-ounce white can. The man there said it was the best thing on the market, and that it was even better than STP, Gumout or other such products.
I read the directions on the can, and it appears as though it can be used in the fuel tank (both for gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles) AND in the crankcase. Apparently, it treats either the engine or the fuel system. That kind of reminds me of Marvel Mystery Oil (black bottle with red lettering), which I have used before.
Any of you ever hear of Seafoam? Is it a good product, or just snake oil?

It is good stuff,I use it often.I pour it slowly into the brake booster vacuum hose while engine is running.Let it set for about 30 minutes and start it up.Smoke will surround you go for a drive until it quits smoking. This works well for me,it cleans the system well.Hope this helps.
