silverado 250hd diesel in the oil?
Hi I have diesel geting into the oil lots of it. Where is it coming from? can anyone help thanks John.

Which model year is your 2500HD? Is it a Duramax 6.6L or is it an older truck with the 6.2L or 6.5L block? Turbo or non-turbo?
As a non-mechanic, my first guess is that you could possibly have a blown head gasket.

it is possible that one or more of the injectors is cracked. this is a fairly common issue on the first gen duramax. diesel in oil is most common symptom of this.
