Silverado not Accelerating
Hey Everyone,
New to the forum. I have a mechanical question. I own a 2000 Silverado 5.3 Liter. Tonight driving home on the highway, my truck would not accelerate and was beginning to make a popping sound under the hood. I had pulled over several times, tried shutting off the truck. I could slowly accelerate to get my speed up to 50 mph before I would call it a backfire would start again and lose speed. Any ideas what this could be??
