Hi I am new to the forum, i have recently purchased a 2008 silverado 3500hd 6.6l,dual wheel 4x4 and absolutely love the vehicle, i am from brisbane australia and am currently getting prepared to travel.
my problem is sourcing a repair manual for this vehicle, i have contacted
gmc australia and a few american importers which have been very unhelpful and was told to search the internet, if anybody could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated, as i might not have access to workshops in remote areas. thankyou nick

This gets you US English manuals; but there will be a difference in some areas, especially in steering. Not sure if GM will show the export information.
However, I have a friend in Australia who has said he can work with the standard US version even with steering components since it is easy to figure the difference. (Which is primarily the steering gear/shaft.) Seats are different but very easy to understand.
He has a Hummer H3, so not sure the main differences between Silverados.
