Starting issue.
Hi.
I recently bought a 1989 chevy k1500 with about 170,000 miles on it.
I have the following done: brake pads, battery, fuel filter, PCV valve, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and air filter.
I am in need of some help. My truck won't start at the moment. The truck will turn over. I started it once with carburetor fluid, but it looks like i wasn't getting any fuel at all.. I also hear like a high pitched noise coming from underneath my bed. Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks.

the high pitched noise will be your fuel pump. you know its working. check for pinched fuel lines, and that you have the fuel filter faced the correct way. you may have to blow out the fuel lines, they may be clogged. hope this helps.
