I have an 03 chevy silverado single cab 4.3l v6 and its having some gnarley starting issues.....when my truck sits for a day or two it starts fine. But when I go somewhere and try to start it again I have to push the gas pedal all the way to and turn the ignition to start it...my buddy told me it sounds like its starving for air so I changed my air filter and it started good for a day but then it went back to the same deal...any suggestions where I should look?? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try unplugging the electrical connector from the MAF/IAT sensor the next time it acts up. If that makes no difference, a leaky fuel injectors or fuel pressure regulator may be flooding the intake with fuel.
