Default steering column problems

I have a 86 1 ton that I want to add a toggle switch to juice everything up with and then have a push button to start the truck with. Where can I find a wire diagram on this? Something is broke inside the column that the key switch turns and nothing happens. So I wanted to bypass.
Thanks for the help

steering column is less than 100 dollars. An ignition switch is very cheap. Those options are better than wiring up for a push button start in my opinion. Just throwing it out there.
