How do i remove the stereo in my 2007 new body silverado? non nav radio. I think the wood grain comes off the side of the radio and climate control but not sure and i don't want to break anything. Thanks for any help..

Default RE: stereo removal

The wood grain bezelpops off but it is difficult, use a very small flat screwdriver or similar to pry it up and pop the 9 surrounding clips that hold it on, once you get the first clip to release the rest come easy.

I recommend using a clean shop towel to cover the bezel or radio face with to avoid scratching your plastic trim pieces.
